Define the building’s basic information

Select the Building object on the Project Tree, and right click.
A pop-up menu appears.
Select Properties from the pop-up menu.
The Properties For: Building dialog box opens.
Enter the Name of your building in the text field provided.
Check the High Rise option.

Note: This, together with the Total height, Length/width ratio and the Orientation of the building, determine the wind pressure coefficients, which are used for simulating air movement and calculations.
Under the Dimensions heading, enter values for the Total height, Length/width ratio and the Azimuth angle of the longest wall.
Select an appropriate Building type from the available drop-down list. For instance, a Hospital.
Under the Information heading, enter the building address in the text fields provided.
